I have no way to verify that - it's just a gut feeling related to how Europeans seem to carry themselves. American Truck Sim is just beginning (and got a slow start because they changed the world scale early on). I guess I just assumed (not that I'm in any way familiar) that the 'trucking culture' in Europe has a very different feel than the one in the United States. You are certainly on to something there, which I overlooked in my question. Get the demo if you are unsure and try it for yourself! Is Euro Truck Simulator 2 still more worthwhile than American Truck Simulator ETS 2, no orders Bought Euro Truck Simulator 2 yesterday. If I press it and switch from private to free, what does that in the game. Even with the fact ETS2 has far more content and more trucks ATS is a standout winner in the comparison of the games in my opinion. With Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator there is a button for trailers. People who say the games are exactly the same are correct as the game play is the same but the feel of the games is in no way the same to me.

We have both the American and European trucks in Australia and although I like driving the European trucks in ETS2 there is not the same trucker feel as there is driving the Peterbilt 389 or W900 on the wide open roads of ATS. I love ETS2 and played it for a long time before ATS was released but now when I play ETS2 that is the biggest difference and because I live in Australia the environment in ATS is far more familiar.
